In this lifetime, somehow, we’ve found our purpose and joy. And we want to share that joy in the best way we know how – through music.
Be it our original songs or unique cover renditions, we want people to feel uplifted and understood.
Simply put, our music and live performances are a celebration of life and an acknowledgement of the immense strength of spirit that it takes to get through it all.
The lyrics of Zehen’s originals have been crafted by Tanushree. The stories she conveys through each song are looking for a home in the hearts of people that can relate to these strange phases of life.
The original melodies for each song have been created by Ashley. He understands the real lived experiences behind each lyric, and accordingly, his musical interpretations weave seamlessly through some very heavy emotions to give each song that joyous flavor that makes the listener feel safe, strong, and uplifted. O RAAHI
If you could go back in time and speak to the child version of you – what moment would you go back to? And what would you tell her/him?
O Raahi expresses both the angst of a child wishing to be anywhere but here, and the calm reassurance from a future where everything turned out just right.
Musically, each element has been placed with careful intent. The violin melody conveys hope despite all odds, the guitar solo celebrates self-discovery, and the bridge reminds you that courage was all you ever needed.
The music video depicts an even more extraordinary possibility (because, magic) and we hope that it makes you pause and contemplate the conversations you have with your own inner child – long after the song is over.
This truly has been a labour of love and laughs (and tears).
